Dr. He Jiang won the Thousand-level in the fifth "Hundred, Thousand and 10-thousand Expert Engineering" of Liaoning.

Dr. He Jiang started visiting Department of Computer Science, University of Vermont, USA. This visiting will last for about 1 year.

Prof. Xindong Wu (The Chang Jiang Scholars Professor appointed by the Ministry of Education of China) will visit OSCAR Team and give a lecture to Software School. He is the Chair of the Computer Science Department at the University of Vermont, USA.
He was the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Trans. On Knowledge and Data Engineering (2005.1-2008.12). He is the founder and current Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Information Systems and the founder and current Steering Committee Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM).

OSCAR newly recruited 3 postgraduate students in Grade 2010. And the total number of postgraduate students increased to 11.

Prof. Jian Zhang and his team members visited OCSAR on invitation. He gave a talk about the topic "Research" and discussed with OSCARers. Prof. Zhang got his doctor degree at Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is now a Ph.D. supervisor at State Key Laboratry of Computer Science (Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences).
